My first choice beer garden in the region. Great location on the Rhine, friendly staff, plenty of choice and good prices, enough space, if it's full then just go to the bank.

Really recommendable a hike on the dam

Over 20 years ago, the city began to renature the extremely rare river valley meadows in cooperation with local farmers and various specialist authorities. Around 70 hectares of floodplain meadows were created in this way, which are among the most species-rich habitats in Central Europe. A project that has received national attention and has already received several awards. The flora of the river valley meadows has adapted perfectly to changing water levels with floods and dry periods.
