Great way to outsmart a rainy day in the Cilento

The Certosa di Padula is a sumptuous Baroque monumental complex, it is the first charterhouse built in Campania and the largest in Italy.

The Sanctuary is located on the top of Monte Romito at an altitude of 1380 metres. Here the centuries-old beech forest opens up and gives way to the panorama of the Vallo di Diano. Present picnic tables to take a break.

The Cervati Refuge is located on the slopes of the mountain of the same name, at an altitude of 1,597 metres. It has around 20 beds and offers a half-board service. It is completely surrounded by greenery. The Campania section of the Sentiero Italia passes through here.

Buonabitacolo is a small town on the border of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. From here you can continue towards Sanza to enter the Monti del Vallinova.
