Spectacular refuge in a wonderful place. In winter it is fantastic! Very popular, always being on the ring road by how many people are climbing. Steep climb, the famous wailing wall, it just takes a bit of training and perseverance. The refuge is welcoming, managed by very welcoming and kind guys. Sunset and sunrise are wonderful.

The most iconic refuge in the Lecco area (together perhaps with the Azzoni on the Resegone) reachable by following dozens of itineraries, in all seasons, choosing between various degrees of technical difficulty or training even if the difference in altitude is never small.

Very beautiful refuge, perched a few meters from the summit cross. Even on days with clouds that obstruct the view it is truly amazing

You can drive here by car, there is space for about 20 🚙. The parking 🅿️ is free, but from Breglia you have to pay a toll of 3€ per car at a machine.

Classic variation of the climb to Brioschi as an alternative to the Ganda route, which is usually done downhill though. The Piancaformia ridge is simple, with small sections of elementary climbing, with a final section on the Ganda to avoid the most challenging section with 3rd grade passages. Follow the yellow signs and you won't go wrong.

The via ferrata should only be attempted if you have a via ferrata set and the necessary experience for the ascent to Monte Grona.

Wonderful walk, done on 06/07/24. I didn't reach the top, I was missing 100 meters of altitude, as the ridge was snow-covered and very sloping, and since I was alone I preferred not to risk it, certainly to be done again without snow.
