the former Strada delle Vacche was the only way to get to Ballabio before the current SP was built. Over time the road has deteriorated and today you can only pass by bike. Definitely better than the provincial road, for those who go MTB/Gravel.

point where the climb to Morterone really ends. Usually you stop at the ANAS hut just before leaving out the descent and subsequent climb to get here, but it is a mistake because in this side valley there are some things scenically interesting
