We came across a refuge during our hike but didn't enter.

The path we took to reach the Lecco refuge is a wide and easy path.

We didn't stop because we were late but from the outside it looks like a characteristic place

A lovely refuge in the shade of the woods, just down from the church of San Calimero, run by friendly and welcoming staff. Prices are reasonable, and the cuisine is traditional. Excellent service, including takeaway sandwiches and drinks. Payment by POS is also available.

Interesting climb

We were astonished by the beauty of the landscape, the little houses, and the peaceful atmosphere. A marvelous panorama that alone is worth the hike. Ahead lies the majestic and formidable Grigna. We cross the Piani di Nava on a virtually flat stretch, which helps you rest your legs and admire the scenery as you pass by well-kept houses and pastures.

The Riva Refuge is located at 1,022 meters above sea level in the Primaluna area, in Valsassina at Alpe Piattedo. The refuge is very charming, the food is excellent, and the view of the surrounding peaks is truly breathtaking.
