きれいな砂利道

湧水河川であるデゼ川の流れ。レサーナのすぐ北にあるブレンタネッラで生まれ、コンナの沼地近くのヴェネツィアラグーンに注いでいます。

Because it allows us to safely traverse a still unspoiled countryside with ever-changing landscapes. It connects the municipality of Venice with that of Mogliano Veneto, and nearby is the former Turbine mill with its adjacent inn.

The new Dese cycle path runs from the Dese bridge to Ponte Alto (Tessera/Zuccarello), then, after following Via Zuccarello from the Tenuta to the Zuccarello pumping station, we see the new white cable-stayed bridge in front of us. This allows us to cross the Zero River and reach the existing cycle path of the Memory Trail, which runs from the Carmason pumping station (reached from Quarto di Altino along the Via Claudia Augusta) to the new Archaeological Museum of Altino. From there, turning right, you can reach Montiron and then the mouth of the Dese, or, turning left, follow the cycle path, after crossing the elegant white cable-stayed bridge, to the Trepadale lock, where it joins the famous Sile cycle path that runs from Treviso to Jesolo.

The Carmason Draining Pump, also known as the Augusta Draining Pump, is one of the main historic hydraulic systems on the Venetian mainland, built to control water flow in reclaimed areas. The structure, still imposing today, testifies to the ingenuity with which the landscape was shaped to coexist with water and the lagoon. The cycle path that runs alongside it follows the banks through fields and canals, offering a peaceful route immersed in nature.
