The theatre, discovered in 1824 by the diligent Judica, has been the subject of significant excavation, restoration and reconstruction works. The cavea, partially sunken into the hillside, has nine wedges and an estimated 14 steps. Access to the auditorium was via narrow passages located on the sides of the stage, given that the traditional parodoi were absent. Although not of impressive dimensions, this theater revealed its potential through a meticulous reconstruction that involved up to the twelfth step.
