Piazza della Vittoria was called Piazza Maggiore until 1924. It represents the epicenter of the city of Lodi, with the Town Hall and the Cathedral overlooking it.

Piazza della Vittoria is the most important square in Lodi. Called Piazza Maggiore until 1924, Piazza della Vittoria houses the Cathedral, the municipal palace and the Vistarini palace.

Gothic style. The façade was restored in 1913 by the architect Gussalli: the plaster that covered it was removed and the two side doors were closed, replaced by two large single-lancet windows with pointed arches. In 1992 the church was awarded the title of minor basilica.

Completed in the 19th century. The salient facade of the church is divided vertically into three parts: the central one has the main portal and a lunette with a painting depicting a sacred scene and is crowned by the serrated triangular pediment, while the lateral ones are characterized by secondary entrances and two semicircular windows and concluded by semi-tympani.
