Very nice observation tower in the countryside.

Unlimited free parking, picnic table and water in good season, playground, pétanque, volleyball, football. Just lack of WC to make it perfect.

The town of Lucens, which is well worth seeing, lies on the Broye stream and is dominated by the fairytale-like Château de Lucens. The castle is on a hill and with its turrets and annexes it looks like something straight out of a picture book. In Lucens you will find a good selection of restaurants and supermarkets. The place can also be reached by train.
