Rifugio Rinfreddo is a cozy mountain hut located at an altitude of approximately 1,887 meters at the foot of the Col Quaternà. It is suitable for both day trippers and overnight guests. The warm hospitality of the owners is particularly well-known. The area surrounding the hut is ideal for hikes and mountain bike tours. There is a parking lot nearby. The Passo Silvella (2329 m) is less well known than some other passes in the Dolomites, such as the Gardena Pass or the Passo Pordoi. Nevertheless, it is particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers, as the area offers spectacular views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks. On the Stoneman Trail by MTB professional Roland Stauder, one of the 5 stamp stations that must be reached is located here.
