Climb that winds through a very green and, at times, wild environment and that crosses, in the final sector, a beautiful forest. The road, especially in the final section, is very narrow but not very busy. Overall it is not a particularly challenging climb (I did it, without too many worries, after climbing the Zoncolan from Ovaro)

The contrast between the calm waters and the mountainous profiles creates a serene environment, perfect for relaxing, exploring the paths around the lake, or simply being enchanted by the uncontaminated nature of this part of Friuli.

Seemingly out of nowhere this serene yet imposing waterfall comes into view. Paired with the new tarmac, gentle gradients and wide corners the entire road is a must-ride highlight in the area.

Beautiful windy road along the valley. Very gentle gradients, perfect new tarmac (courtesy of the Giro d'Italia 2024 Stage 19 passing through), wide corners on two separate lanes. A fun descent coming from the north.

Nice asphalt and actually relatively quiet. At lunchtime there wasn't a soul on this path. The asphalt is mostly and I remember it being very good. So always go over there!
