The path leads steeply back into the valley and to the Capanna Alpina car park.

Due to its north-western position on a mountain it can be quite chilly, even in summer. We experienced night temperatures of -6°C in June at night. Its position close to the mountain also causes quite unpredictable weather. Thunderstorms can come rolling over the mountain and surprise you at the most unexpected times. The ground is mostly gravel, so bring strong tent pegs and a hammer (or better). There are only a few spots on softer ground, available for small trekking tents. Most of these things can be remedied with the appropriate materials. If you know to bring them. In case you did not, there are smaller huts (Utia) with heating as alternative.

This campground lies nestled between the mountains at 1660m height. The tent and camper spots are quite utilitarian, on the smaller side and without much privacy.
