The highest peak of the Alpe di Rodegno, Cima Lasta is located at 2,194 meters and is known as Astjoch in German. From here, in the mountains of Luson, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Pusteria Valley, the Dolomites and even the Alps in Austria.

At 2,118 meters, the peak of Mount Stoanamandl is one of the highest in the Fundres Mountains. It is located between Valles and Mezzaselva and you can get close to the summit – certainly panoramic and fascinating – thanks to a cable car with a valley station in Valles.

The Plose Hut at 2,447 metres offers a fantastic view of the Dolomites. Just a few metres further on, the Monte Telegrafo offers equally beautiful panoramas, including the Eisack Valley.

A great hut with really friendly and courteous staff. The food is also great and the hut is perfect for an overnight stay so you can start straight into the mountains in the morning 🏔️

Running uphill to the Plose refuge, located at 2,445 meters above sea level, is an absolutely splendid experience. From here, you have an extraordinary view of Bressanone and the Zillertal Alps. On a clear day, around 100 peaks might be visible, making this place an amazing destination for an epic ride in a single day. There is an alpine race called Dolomites Marathon that starts from Bressanone and ends here.
