It's best to avoid the tunnel. At 2 km, it's prone to dangerous overtaking maneuvers by cars, trucks, and even buses. We worked up a sweat. Definitely not without lights.

After leaving the beautiful Lake Mis behind, the gorge narrows and the road gains a little height, passing through successive galleries and tunnels dug directly into the rock. It's a wonderful place that rivals the Sottoguda Gorge on the climb to Marmolada.
