8月 30, 2024, Church of Formegan
The church of Formegan, first dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente and today to San Rocco, most likely dates back to the 12th century. The last restoration works date back to a few years ago and concern the restoration of the internal structure, with the discovery of medieval frescoes including a beautiful "Last Supper".

The exact time of its erection is not known. These letters are carved on the portal of the main entrance: MDLXXVIIII. We can believe that they indicate the year 1579 of the construction of the original church of San Pietro. Built about 200 years after that of San Bartolomeo, it was immediately chosen as the parish church, as it was larger. This was until 1812, when it was demolished because it was unsafe. From then on, parish functions began to be celebrated in the church of San Bartolomeo in Col, which in the meantime had been enlarged. The Church, demolished in 1812, was rebuilt in 1815. In memory of the reconstruction there is also an inscription on the wall at the back of the church, above the orchestra, which says "TO GOD OPTIMUS MAXIMUM - DEDICATED TO PETER PRINCE OF THE APOSTLES, THIS TEMPLE ALREADY DEMOLISHED NOW REBUILT WITH THE OFFERINGS OF THE FAITHFUL, IT WAS COMPLETED THANKS TO THE GENEROUS CHARITY OF POPE GREGORY XVI AND SOLEMNLY BLESSED ON 14 MAY 1833". The current church of San Pietro dates back to 1833 and retains at least the stone portal of the main entrance from the previous demolished one, bearing the year 1579. On 29 June 1873, the day on which the Church celebrates Saints Peter and Paul, a "memorable" and disastrous earthquake also seriously affects Salce and in particular all its churches made inaccessible and unsafe. It was immediately decided to repair the damage to the parish church of San Bartolomeo in Col. Following the pastoral visit of 19 April 1874, Bishop Salvatore Bolognesi wrote to the parish priest of Salce praising his work and expressed his gratitude to the faithful for their concern with the who took steps to restore the parish church of San Bartolomeo, however declares the church of San Pietro suspended from worship. This suspension was removed four years later when the parish priest was able to inform the Bishop that the Church of San Pietro was "conveniently restored". The First World War also caused serious damage to the church of San Pietro, so much so that it was again closed to worship due to its unsafe static conditions. In 1926 the parish priest Don Fortunato Larese decided to carry out the restoration work. At the beginning of August 1927 the restoration work on the exterior and on the bell tower resumed, the dome of which was truly in a sorry state, work completed at the end of September, after a new revision and repair of the roof due to the serious damage suffered due to a "furious storm that hit the area". After 45 years, in 1972, the Church was back in pitiful conditions and on 30 August work began on the renovation of the roof. The ceiling was repaired in several parts and the weeds were cleared from the churchyard. Now the Church, restored for the umpteenth time, still dominates, among the pines, from the top of the Salce hill, majestic and beautiful, the wonderful Belluno valley. Nowadays the church is opened on the occasion of the solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul which is celebrated on 29 June: the Holy Mass is celebrated which is followed by a convivial moment held in the churchyard.

12月 20, 2022, Certosa di Vedana
The Certosa was built in 1456. When the community was suppressed in 1768, it was transformed into a farm. In the Land Registry of 1847 the assets were still used for agricultural practices and part of the artefacts were classified as a ruined convent. In 1882 the Certosa was rebuilt, partly recently restored, as it appears today. In 1977 the monks were transferred to other locations and the Certosa welcomed a community of cloistered nuns.

Leaving Belluno, towards Feltre, four kilometers from the center a road diverges to the left which briefly climbs to the Col di Salce. In the small nucleus of Salce, at an altitude of 429 metres, the seventeenth-century Villa Zaglio and the coeval church of San Bartolomeo stand nearby. A short distance away is the eighteenth-century oratory of the Beata Vergine Annunciata, annexed to the severe seventeenth-century body of Villa Giamosa, in which the crowning tympanum is replaced by a turret. A little further on, on the right, there is the 17th century Villa Doglioni.
