トレヴィーゾ県とベッルーノ県の間に位置するサン・ボルド峠は、世界でもユニークな道路工学の傑作です。「百日道路」として知られ、1918年にオーストリア＝ハンガリー帝国軍によって戦時中の必要性から記録的な速さで建設されました。その特徴は、最後の数メートルの登りで、道路が岩盤に掘られた5つのトンネルを蛇行し、垂直に重なり合っているかのように見える非常に狭いヘアピンカーブで結ばれています。トンネル内の交通は、道が非常に狭いため一度に1台の車両しか通行できないため、ユニークな信号機によって規制されています。
