It can be reached in winter from Rettenegg or Ratten on foot without risk of falling, and combined with a snowshoe tour or a ski tour. The Roseggerhaus is located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Stuhleck summit and the Alois Günther Haus.

A very scenic route along the mountain ridge. Caution: narrow path, difficult to navigate in places (swampy, rocky, rooty – everything you could want), watch out for hikers.
