Following the Adda river you reach the historic center of the town of Brivio (LC), where there are fountains to quench your thirst, trees and benches to enjoy the shade and the view. There are also bars and clubs. It is possible to enjoy the view of the tower of the Brivio castle, one of the many small pearls that distinguish the town.

Beautiful castle, it makes the town suggestive and hosts some events.

The well is one of the few things that remains intact among the ruins of the Visconti Castle and it is said that one of Bernabò Visconti's daughters was thrown into it by her father because of a forbidden love affair. The castle has a rather troubled history, Bernabò Visconti himself was killed there by his nephew Gian Galeazzo. Its strategic position made it the object of fierce disputes between Federico Barbarossa, the Viscontis, the Torrianis and the Colleonis, and then it was conquered by the Count of Carmagnola who began its demolition. It's a shame that a castle with so much history to tell should perhaps be valued more.

The Alessandro Taccani hydroelectric power plant is a work of architectural art located in Trezzo sull'Adda, along the right bank of the Adda river. Founded by industrialist Cristoforo Benigno Crespi, the plant has been generating clean and sustainable energy for over a century. Every year, it produces around 60 million kilowatt hours, equivalent to the average annual consumption of 24 thousand families. Behind her, the medieval castle of Trezzo, with its 42 meter high square tower towering above it.

Located in the small village of Marne, a hamlet of Filago, the Castello di Marne was built in the first half of the 13th century by the Avogadri Guelph family. Unfortunately, much was destroyed in a fire in 2008, but you can still celebrate weddings here.
