The Bivacco Ulrich Lateltin, at over 3,100 meters, is a small refuge suspended between the peaks of the Aosta Valley, a place where wood and metal meet in an intimate and welcoming embrace. Here, among breathtaking views and an enveloping silence, all the fatigue of the journey dissolves, leaving room for an authentic mountain experience. With its twelve bunks and warm atmosphere, it is the ideal refuge for those looking for a simple but comfortable shelter, immersed in a breathtaking landscape. A stop that remains in the heart, perfect for finding yourself at high altitude.

A welcoming Walser refuge located in the historic village of Gròssò Albezò, with stone and wood buildings dating back to the 17th century. Renovated in 1992, it offers 20–24 beds in shared rooms for six and double rooms, with modern bathrooms in the adjacent stadel. Easy access via a trail (trail signpost no. 6 or "W"), about 1 hour from Chemonal (1,407 m) through larch forests and pastures, also ideal for families. Perfect as a stopover on the AV1 (between Gressoney and Vieux Crest) or as a base for hikes to Testa Grigia (3,315 m).

The Rifugio Lago della Vecchia is located in the Biella Alps, at 1,872 meters above sea level, near the lake of the same name. This is one of the lesser-known, wild and well-preserved corners of the Valle di Gressoney.

Those who love long and not too steep paths will find the right conditions in the Loo Valley. Precisely because of its vastness, the valley was intensively used as pastureland until not so many years ago. This is evidenced by the considerable number of buildings that can be found along the path. The main settlement is in Loo Superiore ("Obre Lòo"), where one of the huts has been converted into the Bléckéné farm for several years, a rest stop where you can take a well-deserved break.

The Bléckéné farm can be reached from Gressoney Saint-Jean via path no. 12 and from the hamlet of Loomaten or from Niel via the Alta Via no. 1.
