A wonderful little mountain hike! It starts in the wonderfully quiet village of Les Combes, where you can admire beautiful, traditional houses and a small chapel, as well as a museum honoring Pope John Paul II. The hike initially climbs very steeply, but almost always through the forest, with some flat sections as well, so you can easily reach the summit in about an hour. Once at the top, a wonderful mountain panorama stretching all the way to Mont Blanc opens up. You can enjoy a leisurely picnic at tables and benches before continuing down the beautiful path or hiking even higher.

Located in Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, this beautiful waterfall is fed by the Dora di Rhêmes torrent. Surrounded by an uncontaminated alpine landscape, it is a precious corner of wild nature in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park.

This wonderful plateau is located in the Gran Paradiso National Park and is home to an old Royal Hunting House. Around this property you can easily spot marmots, ibex, chamois and other wild animals. Most of the trails in this area are small, well-maintained single tracks. They are free of particular technical difficulty and easy to cover while running.

Rhêmes-Notre-Dame is a municipality in the Aosta Valley in the Val di Rhêmes, a side valley of the Dora Baltea. It is part of the Gran Paradiso National Park, a perfect starting point for hiking or ski mountaineering.

Series of hairpin bends at the entrance to Valsavarenche, from which you can admire the snow-capped peak of Mont Blanc peeking out from among the mountains.
