It is located on the border between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, so it can be reached from the municipality of Settimo Vittone, or from that of Lillianes. I personally climbed from Trovinasse (Settimo Vittone) and the excursion is quite easy, but it is still preferable to do it around October when the shepherds return to the valley, especially because of the numerous electric wires that you have to cross to get to the summit cross

From the village of La Cou you can reach Testa in a quarter of an hour of ups and downs. You reach the highest point but the view is a little obscured by the trees in front, the path to get there is more panoramic

To get to this point, just follow the fence... at the end of it go up 🧗‍♀️ on the left to get to the top of the tip

The mountain is located on the ridge that separates the main valley of the Aosta Valley from two valleys: the north-eastern one is a tributary of the Lys valley and is drained by the Nantay stream, while the north-western one is crossed by the Va stream, a tributary of the Dora Baltea that descends towards Arnad. In the north, the Col de Fenêtre separates the mountain from the Mont-de-Fenêtre (2,054 m). [2] On the summit of Croix-Courma there is a statue of the Madonna and a small stone altar housing the summit book; in a short distance there are two high crosses.
