Greifenstein Castle sits impressively above the Danube and is a prominent landmark along many biking and hiking trails. From the viewpoints around the castle, you can enjoy fantastic views of the river, the riparian forests, and the towns on the opposite bank. It's a particularly good spot for a short detour or rest stop, especially for mountain bikers, who can combine a rewarding break with panoramic views.

The Kreuzenstein Tavern is located directly at the foot of Kreuzenstein Castle in Leobendorf and is a popular stop for visitors to the region. The restaurant offers classic Austrian and regional cuisine, from schnitzel and boiled beef to seasonal specialties.
