A completely restored medieval village, perched on a cliff overlooking the Albegna valley, in the municipality of Semproniano.

Parking is free. Admission is currently (Autumn 2025) €5.

I think seeing a wolf is very unlikely, as the area is very large and not very visible. Apparently, feedings take place at the observation tower, as carcasses are lying there.

The last climb from the parking lot below the Eremo di Davide Lazzaretti requires a lot of strength and can only be done with a mountain bike - or on foot. The approach to the parking lot is also possible with a touring bike or car. Great view and a very interesting historical site.

Beautiful place, unfortunately no longer very heavily inhabited, but with a trattoria where you can sit very nicely and which has a magical outdoor area with a view of the newly renovated main square.

Semproniano is a beautiful little town with a great historic center, a lovely bar, 2 grocery stores, a butcher, 2 restaurants, a household goods store, a stationery store and a hardware store. Just as it used to be. We think it's magical. The people here are incredibly friendly.

Beautiful hiking trail, which is only used by local residents/farmers in exceptional cases, with great views of Roccalbegna, Monte Labbro, Santa Caterina, Petricci and Semproniano. Here you might come across a family of badgers or a wild boar. There are also porcupines and red kites here. We have seen them all ourselves. A true natural paradise.❣
