Magic nightride! Thnx for sharing this route. I started this ride anti clockwise 20.30hr in late June. Next to the great views over the lake at sunset it started to get dark when passing Liciano Niccone (So bring some good light with you) From there the last climb trough the forrest was pure magical. At both sides of the road the forest was full of fireflies. Quit some stunning experience!

The temple of San Biagio was built by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder between 1518 and 1545 and represents a masterpiece of the Tuscan Cinquecento. The church is located in the center of a flat meadow and its position, outside the city, in the middle of an extraordinary landscape, highlights its grandeur.

I cannot recommend Lake Trasimeno for road cycling. The cycle path is only passable with gravel bikes, the streets are very busy and too narrow.

Pedaling on asphalt on a racing bike, around the Trasimeno, between Passignano and Tuoro, an easy road, perhaps a little busy but very suggestive to go on, in all seasons. Beautiful in June.

Puntabella is one of the most beautiful points to admire the Trasimeno. Whether you come from Tuoro (going along a small non-demanding slope), from Castiglione del lago (you get there with a more "important" but short climb) or from Terontola (up and down the ups and downs) it is always advisable to stop for a moment and enjoy the colors and scents it gives you

From San Feliciano you can go back towards Magione passing through San Savino, tackling a small stretch with interesting but not excessive slopes. The lake view is worth the (small) effort.
