Ascent to Battenberg along the vineyards

On the southern shore of the pond, a caretaker's house once stood on the dam. It was used as a forester's lodge at the beginning of the 20th century, and from the 1930s onwards as a tourist restaurant. In November 1983, the house burned down to its foundations.
