The grotto is freely accessible and located behind the church. If you are standing in front of the church's main entrance, simply walk around the church to the left. Alternatively, you can continue walking up the street and, opposite the kindergarten, a few steps lead directly down to the grotto.

The Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary is located on the Klosterberg in Ramsen. It was built in 1912 west of the site of the former Ramosa Monastery (1146-1494), of which only a few remnants remain.
