The Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary is located on the Klosterberg in Ramsen. It was built in 1912 west of the site of the former Ramosa Monastery (1146-1494), of which only a few remnants remain. It stands parallel to the slope and in a prominent position above the Eistal valley. The bike tour to the Bockbach spring in the southern Palatinate Forest offers a charming combination of nature experiences and sights of technical history. Tour description: The route begins in Ramsen and leads along the Bockbach stream to its source in the Stumpfwald forest. Along the way, cyclists pass the Bockbachtal bridge of the Eistalbahn and the siding of the Stumpfwaldbahn, a 600 mm gauge heritage railway.
