Very nice cycle path. Top!

Former hunting lodge of the Prince-Bishops of Würzburg from the Renaissance period. It is located at the highest point in the city and today serves, among other things, as living quarters.

The imposing Aub Castle, a multi-winged complex, forms the northeastern corner of the town's fortifications. Due to the town's turbulent history, it has had various owners over time.

The town hall of Aub, dating from 1482, offers a city library in its historic basement and tourist information in the anteroom.

Very well-preserved castle with a large, open garden area next to it.

The only remaining tower in Weikersheim. Together with the adjacent building of a former bakery, the town museum is located here.

A very pleasant and fast ride. The original route of the old railway, with gravel paving. Along the way, there are several signs with historical information and old buildings.

The Gaubahn Cycle Path is an approximately 37-kilometer-long cycle path in Tauber-Franconia. About 26 kilometers of this runs along the route of the former Gaubahn. It connects the Main Cycle Path near Ochsenfurt with the Tauber Valley Cycle Path near Bieberehren. Between 1907 and 1992, until its closure, the Gaubahn connected the Tauber and Main valleys. The last passenger train ran on the line on May 3, 1992. Dismantling of the tracks began in 1994, before the expansion of the cycle path began in 1996. Between 2010 (Acholshausen – Baldersheim) and 2011 (Ochsenfurt – Acholshausen and Baldersheim – Bieberehren), the former track bed was paved. Source: Wikipedia
