ローテンブルクは、ドイツで最も保存状態の良い中世の旧市街の1つとして知られており、マルクト広場周辺の木骨造りのファサードを最初に見ただけで、その理由がすぐにわかります。時間に余裕があれば、完全に保存された市壁を一周することをお勧めします。上からは、旧市街の屋根の風景を、決して忘れられないような視点で見ることができます。早朝はまだ街が静かで、ほとんどあなただけのものです。

There are many places from which you have a great view of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, but I find the view of the medieval town, with its unique silhouette and towers, most beautiful from the Tauber Valley or from Engelsburg Castle.

Former hunting lodge of the Prince-Bishops of Würzburg from the Renaissance period. It is located at the highest point in the city and today serves, among other things, as living quarters.

Across the Bullenheim vineyards, one can see the ruins of the Kunigunden Chapel in the forest above on the Bullenheim hill.

The Weinparadiesscheune (Wine Paradise Barn) stands precisely on the border between Lower and Middle Franconia. Surrounded by forest and vineyards, it offers a view of the vineyards of Bullenheim and Seinsheim. The restaurant is open Wednesdays to Fridays from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from noon to 10 p.m.

The newly created scenic lake between the village of Seinsheim and the vineyards of the "Seinsheimer Hohenbühl" appellation offers an oasis for rest and relaxation. Parts of the Tree Horoscope Trail also encircle the lake. Swimming is not permitted, but relaxation is allowed. There is a playground for children and a volleyball court for adults.

The imposing Aub Castle, a multi-winged complex, forms the northeastern corner of the town's fortifications. Due to the town's turbulent history, it has had various owners over time.
