I can only agree with the previous speakers: a very beautiful church and place of pilgrimage with an interesting history.

There is said to have been an apparition of the Virgin Mary here in the 19th century. This is why this chapel was built on the edge of the forest, which stands alone outside the neighboring villages, surrounded by the forest. It is also a small pilgrimage site; the place has its own charm.

Chapel "Maria im Stock" northeast of Obermauerbach, is also a pilgrimage chapel. It was built around 1850 after an apparition of the Virgin Mary. It stands all alone in the forest and has its own special effect.
