A town to visit absolutely. In my opinion One of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful in Lomellina. The beauty of the Murals, the originality of the Chimney Sweeps on the roofs of the buildings make you relive atmospheres long forgotten and that you will always remember with a smile. The church of S. Valeriano was part of an ancient Cluniac priory from the 11th century. The grandeur of its structure is an indication of the importance of its function on the European routes to France and Northern Europe and in the opposite direction to Rome, the so-called “Via Francigena or Romea”.

Medieval monument in Robbio (12th century), it has preserved its simple Romanesque decoration. Entirely in terracotta, it stood near the gate of San Pietro, on the road to Mortara, and there was an adjoining hospital, mentioned in the chronicles as early as the 13th century.
