A church was mentioned in a document in 1366. A new building was built in 1659 and consecrated in 1673. 1835 was a fire. In 1970 the church was restored inside.

The Siegendorfer Puszta and Heide is a nature and landscape conservation area in the cadastral district of Siegendorf. The Siegendorfer Sandpußta lies on the edge of the terrain between the level of the Wulka basin and the Rust ridge. On the northern edge of the nearby Oberseewald is the Siegendorfer Heide, an area heavily overgrown with willow shrubs.
