The Kellergasse in Purbach am Neusiedler See is a historic wine cellar lane with approximately 50 cellars, built around 1850 at the foot of the Leitha Mountains. Today, it is a popular destination for wine lovers and connoisseurs who want to sample regional specialties and wines.

The Purbach Bay on Lake Neusiedl is a popular place for water sports enthusiasts. The clubhouse of the Austrian Army Yacht Club (ÖHYC) is located here. But it is also worth visiting outside the club. The landmark of Purbach, the Purbach Turk, is a stone bust above the chimney of a house.

A great section is the reed educational trail in Purbach on Lake Neusiedl. The three-kilometer-long trail leads from the boat and sailing harbor along the canal directly to the lake. There are eight stations where you can learn about the formation of the lake, the flora and fauna, and the reed industry. The trail is particularly interesting for children, with its myths and fairy tales about reeds.

A piece of Burgenland straight out of the most beautiful tourism advertising! After a beautiful tour in the Leithagebirge or on the Kischblütenradweg, you can end the tour comfortably in Purbach's Kellergasse. By the way, the train station in Purbach is not too far away (approx. 1km), so it is also possible to arrive and depart with your bikes by train.
