Borgio Verezzi is located on the Riviera di Ponente, in the area known as the Riviera of Palms. The town lies 28 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital, Savona, and about 70 kilometers southwest of Genoa. To the north, just a few kilometers inland, the mountains reach heights of over 1,000 meters. The Piazza district is the vibrant heart of the town, known for the Piazza Sant’Agostino with its charming 17th-century church, which was carefully restored after war damage. Unfortunately, most of the sections here are privately owned, so you always have to rent a lounger or umbrella. But the beach itself is still really beautiful, and you just want to swim and lie in the sun.
