Colle del Melogno is a mountain pass in the province of Savona in Italy. Located on the main chain of the Alps, it connects Ceva and Calizzano with Magliolo and Finale Ligure on the Ligurian Sea coast. The fortifications Forte Centrale were built between 1883-1895 and mainly served to protect against the French. Also a very popular pass for cyclists of all kinds. The Central Fort of Melogno, a building built on the hill of the same name, is part of the defensive system located between the upper Val Bormida and the Finalese hinterland wanted by the Royal Army to defend Lower Piedmont and the Ligurian Apennine chain from land attacks from the coast Ligurian. It was built between 1883 and 1895.

The pass connects Orco Feglino via a dirt road and from here the town of Finale Ligure on the western Ligurian Riviera to the municipality of Mallare in Val Bormida. It lies on the watershed between the Po Valley and the Ligurian Sea. North of the pass rises the Biterno stream, a tributary on the right bank of the Bormida di Mallare; in the south, instead, the two source arms of the Aquila Current, the main tributary of the Pora, arise.
