There is a perfect gravel road at the top.

A great reward after climbing to the Passo di Valle Alpisella. The descent starts in a typically bare mountain landscape and changes into a trail that meanders through the typical northern Italian vegetation on the slope. The subsoil is rocky and flowing. You are constantly rewarded with the view of Lago di San Giacomo.

The Fraele dam is an artificial reservoir that can be crossed both on foot and by bike. It offers a splendid 360° view, even on Lake Cancano. A peculiarity of these basins, in addition to their size and their bright colors, are the remains of the workers' villages that emerge from the water depending on the season.

The cable car and the lifts make beautiful hikes possible. If you come straight from the valley, you should consider that your circulation will be more difficult at high altitudes without getting used to it.

Quite and beautiful area to escape from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Be aware, once in a while no cellphone reception over there.

To separate Lake Cancano and Lake San Giacomo, there is a dam that can be easily traveled by bike and from which you can enjoy an excellent view over the entire Fraele Valley.
