      The tour from Livigno to Lago San Giacomo leads over a beautiful natural road. At the beginning it goes steeply uphill and suddenly the landscape opens. A beautiful alpine landscape opens up. At the dam is a small restaurant where there is a wonderful polenta.

                  From the upper, deserted end of the reservoir you can enjoy a very nice view towards the Ortler group (Ortler itself cannot be seen). From the point of view on the right, you go over the Alpisella pass to Livigno.
