The charterhouse is immersed in pristine nature. A good stop, even just to refill your water supply at the fountain in front of the charterhouse. On both the Veroli and Collepardo sides, there are many paved roads and trails, some of which are technical, for exploring the Ernici mountains.

A short detour to take on foot to admire a beautiful waterfall on the Aniene River

The Roveto Valley is formed by the Liri River, which rises in the Simbruini Mountains and reaches Sore and then Isola Liri. The upper section of the road passes through very narrow gorges with breathtaking views of picturesque villages perched on rocky promontories.

Reaching the parking lot of the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity requires a challenging climb. The view from up here, however, makes all the effort worthwhile.
