A charming little village nestled in the mountains. A must-see!

The Roveto Valley is formed by the Liri River, which rises in the Simbruini Mountains and reaches Sore and then Isola Liri. The upper section of the road passes through very narrow gorges with breathtaking views of picturesque villages perched on rocky promontories.

A typical destination for hiking from Avezzano. There are also nice places around to enjoy a picnic, the view or small hikes

The church is open. Sanctuary visited by Pope John Paul II in 1985. Beautiful views.

Capistrello is a large historic municipality in the Marsica and Valle Roveto, it is practically the first town you come across when going down the valley.

There are twelve hiking routes in the Park that can be followed and offer beautiful views of the Conca del Fucino and Monte Velino.

Tagliacozzo is a very suggestive town in the Marsica area. It stands on the slopes of Mount Civita and the houses seem to climb along the rocky side. The central square with the fountain with the obelisk surrounded by colorful houses is particularly characteristic.

Camporotondo is a village in the heart of the Simbruini Mountains Natural Park surrounded by vegetation.
