Work created by Arcangelo Sassolino and financed by Dainese consisting of an installation placed on a 20 meter base from which every Sunday at dusk a flame is lit facing the Adriatic Sea which burns the number of the SIC for 58 seconds: over time it has become a place of pilgrimage.

We visited the small village on Sunday. There was a market with many local delicacies, including homemade gnocchi in all kinds of variations, and it was interesting to watch them being made. There were also freshly baked pastries and bombolone (vanilla doughnuts) made on site. It was a very nice trip away from the tourist crowd.

Dating back to the Malatesta era and still well preserved today, the village of San Clemente is one of the best destinations in the Romagna hinterland. The walls and bastions are clearly visible, enclosing the center of the village as they once did. Not far away is also Castelleale, commissioned in 1388 by Leale Malatesta, bishop of Rimini.

Right next to the town hall square of Montescudo there is a small park with a fountain and a breathtaking panoramic terrace.

Gemmano is a village perched on a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The very small historic center still retains its medieval layout. It was an important center during the Second World War, as an outpost on the Gothic Line.

From this panoramic point you can observe the hills that slowly slope towards the sea. The color combination of the green of the trees, the cultivated fields and the blue of the sea is very suggestive.

The village of San Clemente dates back to the Malatesta era and its origins are still clearly visible today. The walls enclose, as in the past, the heart of the historic center and the complex known as Castelleale. It is one of the rare examples remaining in the Rimini area of a building that is both a large farm and a fortified villa, built in 1388 by Leale Malatesta, bishop of Rimini.

The castle of San Savino, called at the time "Castrum Sancti Savini", is an imposing fortified village built at the beginning of the 16th century, not far from Montescudo. Even today the town is enclosed by a well-preserved brick wall enriched by four towers at the corners. The entrance is characterized by a high tower, adorned with three stone coats of arms to which the clock was added in recent times.
