The road that leads from floresta into the park, called dorsale dei nebrodi, is really bumpy. A high car is recommended, preferably an off-road vehicle. We did it with a compact SUV very slowly and we were at the limit.

They are the ruins of a monastery of uncertain dating. A few tens of meters away are the remains of a water mill which was probably connected to the monastery itself. Strongly not recommended to enter, the building is quite unstable. Very impressive place.

Very interesting all year long, but around january if you are lucky, you can find it completely frozen.
