The Fichtelberg near Oberwiesenthal in the Erzgebirge district is, at 1214.79 m above sea level, the highest mountain in Saxony. It was also the highest mountain in East Germany (GDR). Together with the nearby Klínovec (Keilberg; 1243.7 m above sea level) on the Czech side, it forms the most important winter sports center in the Erzgebirge. A stopover on the way to Snezka. We got off here and walked to the summit.

The Triumphal Arch is not a standalone structure, but one of the impressive and imaginatively named rock formations in the Czech rock city of Tiské stěny (Tyssa Walls) near Tisá in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. This rock formation, which can be hiked as part of the Great Tyssa Walls Circular Trail, is the result of millions of years of natural erosion of sandstone.

The Elbe Falls (Czech: Labský vodopád) is a waterfall on the Elbe River in the Czech part of the Giant Mountains. There, about one kilometer past its source, the river plunges 40 meters from the edge of the Elbe valley (1,258 meters above sea level) into the Labské jámy (German: Elbe Basin).

The Pančevo waterfall, located approximately one kilometer from the Labská bouda, is the highest waterfall in the Giant Mountains at 148 meters.
