The Tramin Winery is comprised of 300 winegrowers who form a cooperative. The winery's striking architecture, inspired by the structure of the vine, is a distinctive feature, blending beautifully into the landscape. Tramin's vineyards extend at altitudes between 250 and 850 meters, offering a diverse range of locations, soils, and microclimates. Work in the vineyard follows strict guidelines, with the precise timing of the harvest being crucial for the high quality and distinctive aromas of the wines. The large temperature differences between day and night favor the fruitiness of the grapes. During the day, the warm wind from Lake Garda ensures dryness, preventing rot, and at night, temperatures drop below 10 degrees Celsius. This combination of natural conditions and the meticulous work of the co-owners is the recipe for success of the Tramin Winery, whose most famous wine, the Gewürztraminer, is considered an "Epokale" – the first white wine from Italy to be awarded 100 points. On the left of the Adige, near the town of Carnedo, this road – partly asphalted, partly gravelled and compact – allows you to cycle in nature and with almost no traffic. It is an excellent alternative to the Adige cycle path, if you intend to deviate from it for a few kilometers.

Unfortunately, the tractors are a bit overgrown. This is probably not a real collector's item.

The cycle path is very well developed and therefore easy to ride. But there are almost no rest stops. In the sweltering heat, there is no chance of resting in the shade. There is a nice spot right next to the motorway and I would not recommend it. I would not ride this cycle path again. It runs for a long time behind Bolzano right next to the motorway and is very loud.
