For me, the most important thing is what Michael writes about the Iller Cycle Path. It's boring, with lots of forested stretches and no view. It's only usable from Immenstadt onward. The Günz Valley Cycle Path is varied, but it can get crowded on weekends.

They come from the steep valley flank above, from where they broke off in the post-glacial period. As a rockfall or landslide, they slid down the valley on loose gravel and fine sediments of the tertiary subsoil.
