The telecommunications tower is used to broadcast three DAB+ multiplexes: Allgäu/Donau/Iller (channel 8B/10 kW), Upper Bavaria/Swabia (channel 10A/10 kW) and Bavaria (channel 11D/10 kW). The tower was built in 1991. Not far from it is another tower, a radio relay tower of the German Armed Forces.
