Charcoal Kiln Site in Breiten Grund, Tharandt Forest. Information: The charcoal kiln site is a traditional location for charcoal production. It is also a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. A traditional charcoal kiln festival, including the lighting of the charcoal kilns, takes place here annually.

Pond *Large Lakes*: with bridge, a spacious shelter and nature, in the Tharandt Forest Park.

Zeisiggrund Bridge. Information: It connects the historical part of the garden with the area of the Forest Park. The eastern historical section and the western North American section are separated by the Zeisiggrund valley, through which the state road from Dresden via Freital and Tharandt to Freiberg runs. The 117-meter-long Zeisiggrund Bridge spans the valley. It was completed in November 2003.

Triebischsee in the Tharandt Forest. Information: An artificial pond created towards the end of the 20th century. The Triebisch River is dammed here. Weary hikers can rest on comfortable benches along the water's edge and observe dragonflies and other aquatic life. Water lilies also adorn the surface.

A bench invites you to linger along the "Path of Songs." Information: The Path of Songs in the northeastern part of the Tharandt Forest, near the spa town of Hartha, is a roughly 5 km long circular hiking trail. It was created in 1998/99 on the initiative of Hartha local historian Gunter Richter, with the active participation of Hartha businesses, clubs, and many residents. Thirteen song panels, each featuring a song title and its lyrics, have been placed along the path.
