A hamlet of Savigliano, consisting of the ancient castle and its outbuildings, now converted into residential homes and private farmhouses. The highlight is the beautifully restored castle, which stands out with its cylindrical corner turret. Privately owned, it cannot be visited inside, but it makes a remarkable impression. Adjacent to the castle is the very simple exposed brick chapel with a small portico. All the outbuildings, of considerable age, are worth a careful look.

Here you can cycle in the middle of nature along the Maira river. The Maira path is a 52 kilometer route, mostly dirt roads, that connects Villar San Costanzo with the city of Racconigi. We recommend that you keep a controlled speed, as it is possible to encounter a good flow of hikers.

The Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Pilone originates from an extraordinary event: according to the chronicles, on July 23, 1684, a votive pillar dedicated to the Madonna began to mysteriously swing for several days, attracting crowds of faithful. On August 7, the first mass was celebrated under a tent, followed by the construction of a chapel to protect the Pilone. However, the influx of pilgrims made a larger building necessary: thus the current sanctuary was born, designed by the architect Gian Francesco Baroncelli, with a three-nave structure that still today houses the original chapel.
