モンタルド・ロエロのおすすめツーリングルート

素晴らしい景色の中を通り抜け、2つの県道を繋ぎ、交通を避ける簡単な砂利道。乾燥した状態でも少しぬかるんでいる箇所がありますが、それ以外は路面は良好で、トレッキングバイクでも問題なく通行できます。

The vault of the central nave was painted by Luigi Morgari in 1880: it is divided into four bands, each depicting an episode from the life of San Martino. The altarpiece in the first chapel on the left, The Baptism of Jesus, is also by the same artist. The church is flooded with natural light, which filters through the side openings, giving the building an amber glow that highlights the beauty of the paintings and frescoes. During my last visit, an exhibition of paintings was also taking place here.

short dirt road between Baldissero and Sommariva, a bit of mud but a very nice shortcut between the state roads

Tiny little church (almost a chapel) at the entrance to the farmhouse. Currently (April 2025) under restoration. Nothing spectacular, but still beautiful to look at. In front, spectacular view of the Roero gullies.

Small chapel on the road between Monteu Roero and San Grato / San Lorenzo. Very suggestive, especially for the surrounding environment - wonderful views of the Roero.

Beautiful little village, with several points of interest - and above all, fabulous views of the Roero.
