This is a small country church immersed in the silence of the hills.

On a crossroads in the hamlet of Suniglia, the chapel of San Bernardo, very simple, with a neoclassical structure slightly enlivened by a false elliptical rosette of Baroque echo. Not far away, on the road on the left coming from Savigliano, the La Gabriela farmhouse, with interesting frescoes and a beautiful decorated door.

Originally a convent with an adjoining seventeenth-century church, from the beginning of the nineteenth century, following the Napoleonic closure of the religious orders, it passed from use to use: today the buildings are a cultural centre, and house the civic library, museums, and spaces for aggregation. Not far from the church of Santa Maria della Pieve and the historic center, it is worth a visit.

Beautiful church with an eighteenth-century exterior, in brick, between baroque and neoclassical, with a beautiful elliptical rose window on the facade. A plaque commemorates that Giovanni Schiaparelli, an important nineteenth-century astronomer, studied here. Slightly outside the historic center of Savigliano (it was originally outside the city walls), it is worth the detour.
