From the Torre di Barbaresco you have a wonderful 360 degree view. If the visibility is good, you can apparently see as far as Monte Rosa. But even in hazy summer weather, the view extends to Asti in the north and far beyond Alba in the south. You can get a clear panoramic map at the ticket counter in the tower.

The church of San Giovanni Battista is the parish church of Barbaresco in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont. It belongs to the diocese of Alba, and dates back to the 16th century.

The small town of Barbaresco is famous for being the place of origin of the wine of the same name. The municipality is part of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato area, which has been part of the UNESCO heritage since 2014.
