San Benedetto is located in the valley, on the banks of the Belbo river. In the eleventh century a Benedictine monastery was built in this place, hence the toponym. The writer Beppe Fenoglio, a great lover of this corner of the Langa, cited San Benedetto Belbo in masterpieces such as La Malora and Il partigiano Johnny.

This road leads to Mombarcaro and runs alongside large fields, some of wheat, others used for haymaking. Along the way there is also a refuge where you can stop for a cold drink.

The charming village of Bergolo is called the "stone town" because all the houses have been renovated using sandstone. The Romanesque chapel of San Sebastiano is a place of great historical and artistic importance: it dates back to the twelfth century and is located on a very panoramic hill over the Bormida and Uzzone valleys.

Serravalle is a balcony overlooking the plain and the Alps. It has a very ancient history, which you can breathe while walking through the narrow alleys.
